38. Moving

Beatrice's moving and our move to a house have coincided perfectly. We don't have internet access at home yet, so I am stealing a few moments on Grandma Fox's computer. I figured I had to post a photo of Bea in her new digs (even if you can only see the floor in this shot, and yes, there are covers on that outlet!) and also some footage of Bea doing a bit of her robot crawling at Grandma Fox and Grandpa Griff's this morning (we had to come here last night to watch the Oscars, of course).

37. Creepy crawly

Beatrice is inches away from crawling. Our move from a one-bedroom apartment to a house is coming none too soon.




In other news, Bea's top two front teeth are finally breaking through--not as nice a Valentine's Day gift as a box of chocolates. These photos are from happier days. (Although the telltale, pre-tooth drool-catching bib is present.)

The birthday week continues!

Usually, because my parents live so near by, we are able to go to their house (and eat raw oysters--well, the rest of them eat raw oysters) for my dad's birthday. This year we are busy packing, packing, packing. So, instead...

35. Finger food

Bea has finally nailed the whole pincer grip thing and can now pick food up and put it in her mouth--with either hand! She has tried little bits of toast, Cheerios, and, my favorite (because it seems to pose the smallest choking risk), cubes of soft tofu crusted in crushed Cheerios. This is surpisingly un-gross. I tried it.

The last movie features Cheerios (which I am now breaking in half because the whole ones still make me a bit nervous).
